The City of Victor Harbor is preparing an Economic Development Strategy that will assist to grow our local economy and attract investment that leads to local job creation.

The four year plan will outline a vision for a thriving economy that creates opportunity and enhances our valued lifestyle. It will set out a number of objectives, strategies and preliminary actions that will help achieve this.

Council has invested considerable time engaging with the community, gathering intelligence on Victor Harbor’s economic performance indicators and seeking to understand what are important ingredients in developing a sound economic development strategy.

Council is now seeking to consolidate this work, and use the data to prepare a draft Economic Development Strategy for Council and community consideration.

To help us do this, we are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and interested persons from within the community to participate in an Economic Development Strategy working party. The role of the working party will be to consider the work undertaken by Council and provide advice to shape a draft strategy.

if you are interested in nominating to be a part of this working party, download a nomination form and return it to the City of Victor Harbor's Economic Development Division by emailing localgov@victor.sa.gov.au; posting to PO Box 11, Victor Harbor SA 5211; or delivering in person to the City of Victor Harbor Civic Centre at 1 Bay Road, Victor Harbor.
