Consultation has concluded
From 1 March 2018 new SA Government legislation will allow for mobile food vendors to apply to Council for a permit under Section 222 of the Local Government Act 1999 to operate a mobile food vending business in the council area. Under the legislation the Council must grant a permit for the purpose of a mobile food vending business. However, by adopting 'location rules' Council is able to set conditions on where vendors are able to trade.
Nine locations have been selected in the City of Victor Harbor, and will undergo a 12 month trial period to allow for feedback from both vendors, businesses and the general community.
Please use the online form below to share your feedback on the Mobile Food Vendor trial or download a feedback form to be returned in hard copy.
Feedback can be provided up until 5pm on 1 March 2019.
