Planning for our recreation and open space needs

The City of Victor Harbor is updating its Recreation and Open Space Strategy to guide recreation and open space planning and works within the council area for the next 10 years.

The development of the Strategy will occur in two stages.

  • Stage One (underway now) –Information will be gathered from the community and key stakeholders via a survey. This will help council to identify needs and aspirations relating to recreation and open space in the City of Victor Harbor council area.

  • Stage Two - The information gathered through the first stage will be used to develop the draft Recreation and Open Space Strategy 2027. The draft strategy will be presented back to the community for their feedback prior to being presented to Council for its endorsement.

Get involved today, complete the survey for stage one.

Survey responses should be submitted by 5pm on Friday, 17 February 2017.

While completing the online survey is preferable, a hard copy survey is available from the Council Office (1 Bay Road, Victor Harbor).
