Representation Review

Consultation has concluded


The elector representation review is an opportunity to look at Council’s present representation composition and structure, and consider whether changes would provide greater benefit to City of Victor Harbor residents and ratepayers.

After considering the results of the first round of public consultation in September 2016, Council is proceeding with the following proposal for the community’s feedback:

  • The principal member of Council continue to be a Mayor elected by the community

  • The existing ‘no wards’ structure be retained

  • The future elected body of Council continue to comprise of nine (9) area Councillors.
