This consultation has concluded. All feedback received will be collated and presented to Council at a workshop scheduled for 7 June 2023.

The City of Victor Harbor is seeking your feedback on its draft 2023/24 Annual Business Plan and Budget.
The Annual Business Plan describes how Council will allocate its budget and what services, programs and projects we intend to undertake in 2023/24 to further enhance Victor Harbor's position as a place of choice to live, work, invest and visit.
Draft 2023/24 Budget Snapshot
The draft 2023/24 Annual Business Plan and Budget proposes:
- Capital expenditure of $10,075,300 offset by income of $1,443,000 for grants and sale of assets (Net Capital Budget - $8.63 million)
- Operating expenditure of $35,869,000 resulting in a deficit of $1,485,200. The deficit can be attributed to Council's corporate system replacement project and will be funded through borrowings rather than Council rates, effectively providing a breakeven position.
- Average rates payable increase of 6.2% (lower than March 2023 CPI of 7.9%)
You can learn more about what is proposed by reading the draft 2023/24 Annual Business Plan or the consultation kit which provides a summary of key elements of the draft budget.
