An arts and culture centre for Victor Harbor

The City of Victor Harbor is working towards the delivery of an arts and culture centre in Victor Harbor.

Earlier this year we asked for the community's feedback on a concept to redevelop the Town Hall and Old Library buildings on Coral Street. We had an overwhelming response to this consultation and thank those who took the time to share their views with us.

After considering the results of the consultation, it is clear that our community has a strong desire to see an arts and culture facility in Victor Harbor. Council also acknowledged there were alternate options to Coral Street concept put forward. It is council's duty to explore these options before making a commitment to a particular direction. This ensures we are making the best decision for our community and ratepayers.

The council will now scope alternate options for consideration and further investigation.
