Consultation has concluded

The City of Victor Harbor is seeking public comment on a proposal to revoke the community land status of two allotments owned by Council, with the intention to explore future options for the land.

Background

The subject land consists of two contiguous vacant allotments that are positioned entirely within the land holding of the adjoining property which is in private ownership.

Both parcels of land were gifted to Council under the Development Act 1993, Part 4 Section 50, as part of the Open Space Contribution for the Lincoln Park Industrial Estate sub division that occurred during 1990 and 1995.

The land of approximately 8,000 square metres is identified as allotments 87 and 109 contained in CT 5937/773 and CT 5974/765 of Deposited Plan 43248.

Have Your Say

For the public’s information, Council has prepared a Community Land Revocation Report as required by Section 194 of the Local Government Act 1999. The report is available in the documents section (to the right) or in hard copy at the City of Victor Harbor Civic Centre (1 Bay Road, Victor Harbor).
