The City of Victor Harbor is responsible for assets worth at least $279 million. Many of these assets offer benefits or services to our community.

To support the effective management of these assets, the Council has an asset management strategy and set of Asset Management Plans. These plans help Council look after its assets in the most cost effective way possible at service levels which are understood and agreed to by the community.

The Asset Management Plans are key documents within the Council’s strategic planning framework. There are three asset management plans that deal with specific asset types:

  1. Bridge, Stormwater, Kerb and Channel
  2. Roads, Footpaths, Traffic Devices and Car Parks
  3. Land, Buildings and Open Space
