Consultation was undertaken from 31 March to 23 April 2025.

The City of Victor Harbor is seeking community feedback on its draft Asset Management Plans and Long Term Financial Plan 2025/26 to 2034/35. These plans are key documents within Council’s strategic planning framework.

The draft Asset Management Plans assist Council to look after its assets in a cost-effective way at service levels which are understood and agreed to by the community. They outline financial and technical elements including replacement cycles and funding requirements. There are three Asset Management Plans. These cover:

  1. Bridges, Stormwater, Kerb and Channel
  2. Roads, Footpaths, Car Parks and Traffic Devices
  3. Land, Buildings and Open Space

The draft Long Term Financial Plan looks at the next 10 years and sets targets for Council’s budget to achieve in terms of future expenditure and debt levels to ensure financial sustainability is maintained. It also sets out the major projects that Council intends to undertake over the next decade.
