There's no doubt that COVID-19 is impacting on all of us in different ways particularly as we adopt social distancing measures to help keep ourselves and others safe. But social distancing doesn't mean losing connection with others.

In challenging times, the power of community can achieve amazing results. So we have created #COVIDconnections - an online community where you can engage with others, share ideas and learn from other people.

Over the coming weeks and months the City of Victor Harbor will raise questions to provoke our community into thinking how we can all work together to improve our quality of life.

We all have a role to play to help stop the spread of COVID-19. But while we practice social distancing and stay at home, it is really important to take care of ourselves, look out for our neighbours, and even have a little fun.

So how are you dealing with COVID-19? How do you stay connected to your family and friends? How are you managing stress? If you are able to work from home, what tips and tricks do you have to be productive?

Share your stories and ideas to create a resource we all can use to help ourselves and each other during an unprecedented challenge.

You will need to sign up to join our forums and conversations - click the 'Sign Up' banner in the top right corner.

We'll share some of these ideas back to you and the rest of the community through Victor Viewpoint and on our other communications channels.

We hope you'll join this community-centered conversation. Please share this page with friends and family within Victor Harbor. Together, we will get through this.

We all have different needs and as we change our daily habits to protect ourselves and others from COVID-19 some of our community members may not be able to meet their needs in the usual manner.

What can we do as a community, as businesses and individuals to help others meet their needs?

Do you know of a particular group of members within our community that are struggling at the moment? Do you have suggestions on how to alleviate this current problem?

Share your ideas and observations in the forum.
